Atex

Safety without compromise, entirely Italian quality

Made in Italy

Technical partner for design studios and industries

Argiberri’s ambition is to bring the quality and technical expertise of lighting design to those environments where safety is the fundamental requirement — both from a lighting standpoint and in terms of explosion-proof components. Argiberri positions itself as a technical partner for design studios and industries that refuse to compromise, focusing on patented products that champion Made in Italy.

Argiberri’s ATEX products are designed to operate where the margin for error is zero: environments with potentially explosive atmospheres caused by combustible gases, vapours or dusts — from logistics to chemicals, from the military sector to pharmaceuticals, through to Oil & Gas.

In these contexts, every component carries a precise responsibility: preventing overheating, eliminating sparks, ensuring that no surface becomes the ignition point of an explosion. This is not ordinary engineering. It is life-saving precision engineering. This is why every Argiberri product is born from an entirely Italian supply chain — where the artisanal mastery, passion and technical expertise of our country translate into superior quality and meticulous attention to detail.

Because in ATEX environments, compromise does not exist

Groups II, Zones 1, 2, 21, 22:

Certified Innovation for Hazardous Areas

Argiberri’s solutions are designed to operate in classified surface areas, certified for Group II and in particular for Zones 1 and 2 (Gas) and 21 and 22 (Dust). Where others make compromises, Argiberri does not: plastic materials are not an option. The lamps are watertight, impact-resistant and resistant to chemical corrosion, manufactured exclusively in steel and/or brass. Thermal performance is guaranteed by optimised heat dissipation that keeps surface temperatures low, in full compliance with stringent European regulations. A patented product, developed entirely in Italy.

L460024 / L4120024 — Indoor

A range designed for non-classified environments requiring illumination up to 5,000 lm, available in 600 mm and 1,200 mm lengths. The steel structure guarantees strength and long-term reliability, while the 24V low voltage ensures low consumption, high luminous efficacy and simple installation. Available with buffer battery for emergency functions.

Gruppo I M2

Certified and patented innovation for hazardous areas

Argiberri’s Group I M2 solutions are designed for use in tunnels, with certifications valid for some of the most demanding and regulated environments. Protection goes well beyond what is required by regulations: the exclusive use of brass and steel, with dedicated thicknesses and devices, ensures a structural level significantly superior to standards. All luminaires are waterproof, impact-resistant and resistant to corrosion from natural and chemical agents. Thermal performance is guaranteed by optimised heat dissipation, which keeps surface temperatures low in line with the stringent reference regulations. Patented products, developed in Italy.

L4EX60024 / L4EX120024 — Tunneling

Both ranges are designed for use in tunnels, with certification valid for Group I M2, available in 600 mm and 1,200 mm lengths. They combine with Ex d enclosures, inside which drivers and backup batteries can be installed for the emergency function. The 24V low voltage makes them ideal also for illuminating self-propelled equipment such as TBMs.

L4EX600230OFE / L4EX1200230OFE — Tunneling

Also certified for Group I M2 and designed for use in tunnels, these ranges are available in 600 mm and 1,200 mm lengths with 230V supply — ideal for fixed tunnel lighting. Weighing 12 kg and delivering up to 5,000 lm, they offer high performance in demanding environments. Backup batteries for the emergency function can be integrated, with drivers installable directly inside the enclosure.
